Spider Conch

Anyone got one? I was at SWC yesterday and Jayson has a bunch of them. Would it be possible to keep one in a 40g tank? I have a bunch of hermits and a pair of emerald crabs, but nothing to really stir the sand that well.
These guys were pretty big, maybe 4 inches long.

I don't know about that. I was told that my 1.25 inch fighting conch will do my whole tank, 65 gallon or 36x18 foot print. (648 sq/inch) What is the footprint of your tank?

36x16, 576 sq inches.

I've had one in a 72 for a month now. It eats algae wafers that I have to handfeed every other night.

I have a queen conch in my 62 gal tank, it keeps the sand bed really clean. I know a QUEEN CONCH I'm waiting for a fighting conch from Doug so i can trade them off. the Queen is about the size of a a double walnut shell.
