Skimmer pics??
 

Hey all, no pics from me, but..... I'm looking for some pics of your skimmer intakes. Preferably ones either in sump or pulling water from the sump.
Where are they located? Higher up? Deeper down in the sump? Do they draw out of an overflow weir?

I'm looking for some ideas.

My skimmer intake is fed directly from my overflow drain. A piece of pvc extends down the reaction chamber to about 1-2 inches above my recirculation pumps intake.

Not the greatest pic but it shows my becket skimmer fed from the mag 18. Its submerged about 8 inches. Before this setup I used to run the skimmer externally and above the water line. Its way more efficient now without the extra head loss, and the new DYI stand pipe.
