Well i find them very quiet, and nice to use

I have been only using my Quiet One 4000 for couple weeks now, but so far so good

These pumps are awesome, I've had a 4000 for 6 months, doesnt run hot, whisper quiet. Never had a problem so far, I recommend it.

I'm on my second Quiet One 1200. Noisiest piece of crap I've ever had the misfortune of owning.

I have a 6000 on my main reef ( one year ) and a 4000 ( 6 months) on my smaller one . I find them very quiet and relaiable.

Just my 10 cents worth ...

Cheers

i have a quiet one 6000

this pump is great, nice and quiet, does add some heat though, more than a mag 18 that is for sure...also a mag 18 has way more power if there is some pressure, ie, beckett etc.

From what I found with my 1200, run internal, or basically as a powerhead, nice and quiet. Run external, or with any amount of PVC attached to the input or output - and it's a rotten little pump.

A few people have been by when my 20 was running, that darn pump rattled just about constantly. But in its current configuration in the 65 (basically a big powerhead) it's absolutely silent.
