Question about skimmate...
 

You always see pictures of people having this dark coffee looking sludge coming out of there skimmer. My question is, what does it come from? Is it mostly fish or coral/rock? (I know both, but which is more)?

I'm betting fish since I tend to like them a lot.....ask me after I use the CS8-1 on a 45g coral tank... :lol:

Walter my understanding is that it's mainly nitrogenous waste so I'd say it would be from 1 Fish waste and 2 uneaten foods. Not sure how much waste corals would produce other than the slime that softies produce when injured etc...
