Temperature

What temp are you keeping your tanks at?
I have read so many conflicting suggests.
The New Marine Aquarium by Michael Paletta suggests 74-76F
I have seen people run between 79-83F

Whats best?

79-81 for me or it starts costing lots of money and gets loud.

Same temp range as Willow.

79 most times, but I'll kick it up to 92 when my chiller fuse blows. Not recommended for long term temp though...

80 to 82 degrees.

I read an article online a while back, I think there is a link off RC or its magazine, that says real reef temperatures are in the low 80's.

I shoot for 77-78, that way if the heater goes and sticks on I have a little more time to notice it before things start getting nuked.
