arc bulbs
 

has anyone have any feedback on arc bulbs, there's a webpage from ontario, selling them for 49 bucks.
or how about Hamilton bulbs for 75 bucks.

i bought a pair of 175w 20000k arc's, and they honestly looked like I only had on a single 30w actinic...with a shimmer.

I have a 10K 250W and it seems to throw a nice white light with a touch of pink :idea:

Hey Rob, here is my new tank which is lit by 1 14k 250 watt Arc. Its pretty blue with the blue back ground but thats what I like. You don't need actinics with it thats for sure.

i got ahold of the company selling the bulbs but they dont stock the de bulbs yet....

Ya that is where I got mine....on my 180G I am running 2 250W Iwasaki's that need to be changed....I am going to try 2 Sun Aquatics now to compare them to the ARC's.

They may not be the best you can get, but for 50 bucks you can't go wrong!

I have got two 10000k arcs I find that they are quite yellow. To me they look like 6500k I am old that they will whiten over time.... hopefully soon :biggrin:
