External Powerhead, who has em?
 
does anyone run one of these external powerheads?

there a few different companies making these. the benefits seem to be they don't transfer any heat to the water, you only see a tube in the water and for the flow you get a fairly reasonable price. it looks like they get the extra flow kick out of an educator on the end of the output nozzle.

any experiences with these would be great.

I use the Gemini's, much the same and they are great. Perfect for using on wavemakers. Have been using them for over two years without a hitch.

Mail order that Pet Place a couple of years ago. I don't think they make them anymore though.
