bristle worms

when i was doing a water change/vacuuming the cc, i noticed a few bristle worms in the bottom of the waste water bucket.
should of i returned these guys to the tank? or out with the waste water?

I would have put them back. They clean your tank, and do nothing wrong. I wish I could get more!!

My worm collection is for sure the most prized thing in my tank! I have many many many of them and of all sizes. At least a dozen 10" or longer ones. I feed a bit more just so I make sure they get enough to eat.

well, hopefully I can get some locally, as shipping them might be a hassle. However, if I decide to come over that way, I might take you up on that.

Zerandise....I thought I was the only one! I've got a couple of worms that I hand feed!

Bristle worms can be a big bonus, they eat left over food that fish etc don't eat. They clean up anything that dies in quick time. Some people don't like them, there are some species that can be distructive to some corals but I think that's the exception rather than the rule.
