Is it possible to include a link to your gallery, in one of these buttons ( http://www.canreef.com/phpBB2/templa...on_profile.gif ) that would show up at the bottom of all your posts..? Ive had it quite a few times where someone posts that pictures are in their gallery and I keep looking for a quick link. Im not sure if the board software supports it but, I have seen many other boards with links to the members gallery.

Well yes if I make a mod to the forum software but perhaps an easier way is for you to just put an image tag in your signature.

Are you really saying,

It's easier for each member to make a small graphic, insert it into their sig, and link it to their member gallery... (which will be a challenge for some people, I can see it now)...

Than for you to make a single mod to the software? :confused:

Actually knowing some of these bloated PHP forums, it might very well be. I think the last time I tried to mod a PHPBB it ended it tears.

Hello,

Yes it is easier for you to insert a single tag than for me to modify the code. All you have to do is to insert a line of HTML but for me to do the mod it is not as simple, and I'm working on various issues on the background.

I've looked for a suitable image, and settled on this: http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...ar_gallery.gif

If we use it in our sig line and insert a link to our main "member gallery" page, it works fine. For instance, in my profile under Signature, the line of BB code looks like this:

(url=http://www.canreef.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=201)(img)http://www.canreef.com/photopost/data/500/201top_bar_gallery.gif(/img)(/url)

(Just remember to switch out all the round brackets "( )" for square ones "[ ]".)

For Example, if we want to show Muck's gallery page, we change "user=201" in the above link to "user=1022" and change the brackets to get this result: http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...ar_gallery.gif

Et voila!

ok... I made mine but the whole point I was getting at was to make it easier for everyone to view whomevers album they wanted. (not just there own) :confused:
