Hamiltonj 150w HQI
 

I just went to test out my new Hamilton 150w HQI pendant.
It appears they have sent me a 250W pendant instead, pendant only.

The 150w bulb didnt look like it would contact so I did some research, the sockets are for 250w.

Also , are metal halide bulbs test fired at the factory?

The bulb I was shipped looks as if it has been running, there is a purplish haze on it.

yes the bulbs are test fired at the factory.

as for the socket, can you check to see what there is for ballasts in there?

Wendell fix up this issue last week. Very fast response the new pendant was on the move the day after I informed them.
Ocean aquatics shipped without first receiving the 250w pendant back. This is almost unheard of.
