More macros
Here's some recent macro shots I took  Also before I went to bed the scroll had about
10 little white balls on the outer crust, in a pic here it shows one-I don't have a clue what they are  http://members.shaw.ca/sumpfinfishe/...1-5cleaner.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/sumpfinfishe/...5millipora.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/sumpfinfishe/...-5fuzzygrn.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/sumpfinfishe/...ottlebrush.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/sumpfinfishe/...21-5scroll.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/sumpfinfishe/...lowslimmer.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/sumpfinfishe/...grntwister.jpg |
Great pics Rich, I think you can do better with those macro shots though
Whats that last coral? Thats some crazy growth patterns. Whats the story on that one? Christy :) |
Yeah I think I will able to better those macro's soon
That green twister as I call it, was a small single branch frag that I picked up about two years ago. I'm pretty sure I got it from Seacare when I was out there fragging for Tim one day. If I'm correct I think it's a nasuta species. For the longest time it simply matted out, then last year I changed it's location to the center of the reef where it has been getting hit with three differents forms of flow, this probly explains the bizzare growth patterns. I just recently fragged it about a month ago and the new growth is visable extending out from the mature branch  |
Those "little white balls" look like eggs to me

Could those white balls be some kind of spores?
