I had to tear down my entire tank today to catch the sailfin tang that Josh lent me... so I figure it would be a good opportunity to rearrange everything and take a picture before I replace my 2x175w lights with a couple of 250s :cool: .

My friend gave me this bta last night... 10 minutes after it hit the tank, my male clown jumped into it. 30 minutes later, my female clown kicked him out and claimed it for her own :rolleyes:

My peppermints were never in the open until now. Just this shot washed away all regrets I had about tearing my tank apart :razz:

BTA is bleached is it not? It's going to need some TLC , color that bad boy up again...

Daily feedings (small portions) and within a month or so it will be back to its normal brown-self :lol:

Harv- I got the clam last time I was down in Calgary for Jon's meet.

The BTA isn't bleached. My friend has had it for quite awhile and it just split about a month ago. newguy's bta is the same as mine and he's had it for quite awhile as well (I believe its split multiple times).

i love BTA's .. i have 3 in my 20g.. my BTA's are split happy it seems.

I've had if for 18 months now, its split 4 times.
