Thin Naso, Fat Blue Spotted
I have three tangs in my tank....a Naso, a Blue Spot, and a Sohal. All three look great and are very active. While the Blue Spot is fat and growing like a week, the Naso has hardly grown and is on the slim side. He eats lots and looks very healthy, but he isn't keeping up with the Blue Spot on the growth meter. He eats flake food, mysis shrimp, algae, sea weed, etc....
I've read that Naso's have a problem with intestinal worms. Any thoughts? Thanks as always for your insights. Mike |
Wish I could offer some advice, but my Naso is a fat pig. He reminds me of Bruce from Finding Nemo.
What size tank are they in - maybe too much competition? |

Fine boned Naso and big boned blue spot, it could be genetics. If they both eat and act healty, they must be healthy.

Thanks for the insights...they both look great, so I'm sure the Naso is fine, but just not a Defensive Lineman like the Blue Spot....maybe a Wide Receiver type.
Tank is 120 G....lots of room. Thanks again. |
