I've been neglecting my tank lately for the real thing. Just wondering if there is anyone on Canreef that is looking for a dive buddy in the Vancouver area?

Hey Jason,

I just got my open water cert about a month ago in Fiji. I'd like to try diving out here, but haven't really looked into it too much, other than going to IDC and getting some info from them. Do you have your own gear? Who do you usally dive with? Prices?

WOW I didn't expect such a great response.

I've had my Open Water for about 1 year and I'm about to get my advanced. That will give me wreck, night, and deep diving experience. I'm also going to get certified for a dry suit to stay a little warmer.
I only have my personal stuff like fins, mask and snorkel. But will be investing in equipment if I dive enough to justify it.

I'm heading out to Whytecliff tomorrow (April 10th) around 9:00am with some people from http://www.scubaboard.com/forums.php but if anyone is interested let me know. It's just going to be a fun dive with 5 or 6 people. Everyone is welcome.

hey! any of you divers interested in an almost new dry suit :mrgreen: i've got one that i only dove like 3 times! mmmmm nice and warm...and dry too!! :biggrin:

it's a black in colour, white's tri-lam type with latex cuffs. it's quite a nice suit, comes with shoes that you wear outside of the suit. i'm about 5'10 so it would fit someone around the same size give or take a few inches. if you're interested in any other gear i have pretty much 2 full sets that i'm not really utilizing at the moment so we could talk :biggrin:
