Try 3Vets just over the Cambie street bridge for the heat packs, I hear Canadian Tire sometimes sells them.

J&L charged me a dollar each to buy the heat packs they use. One is good for a decent sized box.

You can get styrofoam coolers from your local hospital. They use them once them chuck them. Asking a couple people in housekeeping should net you a couple. Thats how I got mine anyway.
