lighting help

I am building a new canopy for my 75 g tank and I got a MH from Canadian Man. I was wondering if I can get any 250W MH bulb or are there ones that only work with the ballast. Also is there any one who uses a 20,000K bulb I would like to see how blue it is?

For my new canopy I am using screw in 23W 6500K PC bulb, 4 48" actinic NO fluorescents, and a 250W MH I don’t know the K rating. There will be 4 of the screw in bulbs at either end of the tank I can fit two more in there if needed. Is that going to be enough light for my tank or will the ends look rely dark?

Bulbs usually work with most ballasts. I have used a 20,000K Arc bulb.
It was 175W, and I hated it because it was really blue, and had very little punch. I have a 14000K 250W Venture bulb that I really like, but I am switching to two 175W bulbs, so I have to sell that bulb.

I don't think the ends will be very dark, but having no experience with those bulbs I am only guessing.
