Return water

Just would like to know how others have the return water going into the tanks. I currently have 1 3/4" return entering the opposite side from the overflow.
I am thinking of have multiple lines across the back of the tank using loc lines.

Any input would be great

Thanks
Robert

I use a single 3/4" loc-line opposite my overflow. Nothing fancy. I try to keep the plumbing out of the tank now. The Tunze's look big enough.

Also, the more outputs, the less flow each has. If your return is used for generating current, 1 outlet is best.

I am running to power heads for flow, I was thinking of putting on a Mak4 and putting multiple return lines to act like 2 more power heads. Do you still think 1 return line is best?

If you can run the MAK 4 at full throttle, 2 might be fine. Try to avoid head loss by using too many 90 degree fittings, etc.

spa flex is great for ridding of unnecessary "sharp" turns...it'll cost ya tho.
