where are the hidden gems (LFS) for dry goods?

j&l in burnaby (lots of dry goods, fish and coral)
ocean aquatics in ladner (coral, coral frags and helpful service)
hidden reef in abbotsford (a bit of a drive but they have a nice operation)

I think King eds is a gem for dry goods... not so much for swimming things

i gave up on that one, if its on the floor in an isle i figure they need help crushing the boxes up a bit or they would have taken the time to get them up onto a shelf or something.

btw if you have any form of asthma bring your meds. it's also best to use the buddy system in there, if you get separated from the person you go in with it might take a while for you to find each other.

Sounds like Golds Aquarium in the Calgary.
Great prices and everything, but boy, its shoulder to shoullder on weekends, with stuff all over the place.

Will check out most of the places mentioned.

As long as you have your GPS in King eds your fine and the buddy system never fails...unless both of you get lost

I always find it best when i Tie a string to the front door. Its really helps when you are trying to find your way out. I am sure the last time i was in they had a sign like at the kiddie rides. Said something like "Your gut must be smaller than <----------> to play in this aisle" I didnt get to see much :(
