Monitors and magnets !!!
My 6yr old son decided it was a good idea to run magnets over the screen of my monitor. Is there any way to fix all the blotches that can be seen now? Thanks for the help.

My kids done the same thing. The monitor stayed all messed up for a couple of weeks and just went back to normal slowly after that.
Gotta love those little buggers and their experiments! |
Is it a CRT? If so, go into the monitors settings and look for "Deguass". If its LCD, I'm not sure, but it could be pooched.

I don't know if they are like tv's,but try turning it of for a day or two.My dad called and said the color was all weird in his new tv,so I went over and he had it sitting on my brother's guitar amp(four 12 inch speakers:eek:)

Led Screens should be imperviouse to a magnet as they are LCD's not not phosphorus ( Electron Gun).....I would hit the degauss button and that should do it....but it should return to normal after a couple of days!!!

Ex sister in laws son didn't like peanut butter on toast so he started hiding it in the vcr. Needless to say a couple of days worth was all it took.
