Flying gurand at hillside
I was in Hillside today a saw this guy
http://www.vibrantsea.net/images/gurnard17_anilao12.jpg What a hilarious character!! He actually walks around on his pectoral fin's Make sure to check him out if you go in. Id take him home but he's to big for my tank  |
Admire it from afar. These are public aquarium species. The smallest is about 40cm max & the largest is 90cm max. They are also messy eaters so it would pollute your tank in no time.
Now, if I had a small s/w swimming pool, I'd love to have one of these flying gurnards or sea robins in there for sure. JMO Anthony |
Hillside has fish that are unsuitable for home aquariums? Nah couldn't be.....

I was talking to Cora a couple of weeks ago and she said they came in one morning and the fish was dead. I thought he was awesome!
