weird stringy things
 

Ive got these mounds forming on by sandbed, out of the mounds are these long very thin yellow stringy things, they are everywhere and seem to move on their own. Ive never seen these before, does anyone know what they are?

I think they're spaghetti worms. Generally harmless detrivores.

I dont think I could get pics of them, they are far to thin and I dont think I could get close enough

spaghetti worms. I have them all over as well. They have never been an issue and seem to always be eating crud on the rocks and sand.

Do the stringy things look something like these?

This one has been hanging out on the glass for about a day now. I have a pile of these in my corner tank and they are good. :mrgreen:
