WTB Pump
 

Hey all I am in desperate need of a pump for my sump....I am currently using two fluval 204's in series to pump water to my tank from my sump...


I don't exactly know what size pump I need though....I have a 29g Tank with a 10g sump my overflow came from a 230g tank so It can handle I high GPH flow rate!

Do you have an idea of the GPH you want? I noticed you have very little head on your setup, you might get away with a mag 8 or 12. I always say go bigger in case you upgrade in the future, you can always reduce the flow if its too much.

The plan is to buy large enough to support our 230g when we get it. What would you suggest?

a dolphin on a 29.. all i can say is wow :eek:

it would be dolphin on a 230g, but we might not need to buy!

Which pump were you going to get? I use the 3000 in a 120 Gal SPS and highly recommend it.
