fuge lighting
 

ive read about melves bulb he uses over his sump but im not sure if its available in canada. does anyone have recommendations for bulbs or lighting? currently i use a 18watt cf bulb over my sump but i doesn’t really put out a ton of light. i would like to kick it up a notch.

what do you use or recommend?

I recently found a place in Edmonton that sells a 24 watt compact floresent that screws into a regular light bulb socket with a colour temp of 6500k . Now I can't remember if it was made by Philips or Sylvania. I think it was Sylvania :smile:

I use the Bright White Compact Fl. bulbs 23w or 29w that you can sometimes find at CT or other hardware shop. It grows my caulerpa & red halimena no problem at all.
