Do they live on liverock or just dwell in the sand?? Reason i ask is i have that clicking in m y tank which sounds like it comes from my rock??? A single click no multiple. Im about to pull the rocks out 1x1 in the search

what ever shrimp that clicks and drives a man insane is what i mean. :evil: I have yet to see it but it will click really really loud!!! But wont click when im lookin in the tank. Clicks mostly at night too

From what I have read, both Pistol and Mantis click, but that is all I know :redface: I am sure some folks who know a lot more than me will now pipe up. :biggrin:

yeah seriously, they can be a bitch to get out of your system. i belive an effective way to get him out if you know what rock he is in is to fresh water dip the rock and he should pop out.

There are always people who want to keep a Mantis in a dedicated tank. Maybe you could locate one of those, and have him help you catch it. :mrgreen:
