Pics of Mick & friends :)
Here's some shots taken with my new Nikon Coolpix 4300. Still learning to use this new gizmo.
http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...ubble2-med.jpg After midnight, under 20000k T5s, my green bubble turns into Mick Jagger's lips  http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...rseJawfish.JPG How's this for a combo - Seahorses & Jawfish  http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...06SunCoral.JPG This was almost dead when I bought it at a LFS, now 3 months later. http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...ng_closeup.jpg My pearly jawfish hovering above its tunnel looking for a snack. http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...06RedDONUT.JPG Finally, a clear pic of my really brightly coloured donut coral from OA  Thanx Jack! How big is your jawfish? What do you feed yours?
|
Michika,
It's only about 2 inches long & it eats mysis (Hikari & PE). There's a pair in there but sometimes they live together in the same tunnel, other times one gets booted out into the doghouse (figuratively speaking). Paid $25 each for pearly jawfish, now found out I could have gotten Indonesian Dusky Jawfish for half that at Coral Ocean  Oh well, these are very beautiful fish so I guess if they survive long term, that's a worthwhile investment. I paid quite a bit more for my yellow headed jawfish....
Have you ever seen your eaty anything but mysis? I'm wondering if I adopted myself a special fish, in the sense that it likes flake food and cyclopese! |
