Has anyone tried to New Tunze Wavebox yet?
I want one, but they would take up alot of real estate though. Too bad you couldn't hook it up externally with a hose attached to the output.
Anyone had experiences with this yet? |
they also take up alot of cash! 600 bucks worth of it.
i saw this on another forum. http://www.essentialaquatics.co.uk/movies/wavebox.html it looks pretty badass. they also said that it could shorten the life of your tank by up to 20% because of the wave action. if you have a sketchy tank then i would think twice. |

JL's has the wavebox right now, I took it outa the box to check it out. It would take up quite a bit of room unless you had a 100g+ tank. I also want the new 7095 controller, but JL's hasn't gotten it in yet. I know in the states it (and the wavebox) have been on backorder for quite some time, I'm actually surprised that JLs were able to get one in. |
yep the tnk itself. i guess the constant rolling motion of the current must be brutal on the seams.
tunze canada probably has a diffrent distribution that the states. |
Interesting idea, but way to expensive for my blood and takes up to much realestate. Unless you have a enourmous tank, then you have to have it build taller to account for the wave.

They would be perfect for a large plywood tank...

http://www.wave2k.com/movies/w2k2.wmv i dunno, looks kinda hokey to me, and it basicaly takes up the sidewall of the tank. |
