hatched clowns

I have some baby clowns that were hatched. Even though they have never seen an anemone they took over it leaving the big clarkii & seabae in the dust. I am just wondering if it is natural instink for them to feed the anemone or should i be feeding it. I am not sure what it looks like when they feed an anemone but it looks like they are almost stealing the food from her...

Two school's of thought regarding feeding. Some believe that anemones don't need feeding and food floating down will be enough to supplement the lighting. I think most people, myself included, like to feed our anemones once a week or so. 1/4" size pieces of seafood will do (shrimp, scallop, clam, white fish, mysis, etc.) I found my clowns are more likely to steal food than to feed the anemone.

CLownfish store food they dont feed anemones. It has been shown that when a clown is without a host and uses a cave or a corner then that area becomes full of uneaten food. Hence the clown storing it. In the case of the anemone when the clown stores the food its host just eats it so u have no build up.
