shy trigger
 

ive had a bursa trigger now for three weeks.he always hides under rock whenever i go anywhere near the tank.wont come out for a good half hour.whenever i through a peice of food in for him he hides.my understanding of triggers is that this is not normal.any ideas.

They sometimes hide for quite a while untill they get used to the new place. If you have lots of other fish they'll come out sooner. :smile:

Do you have quite a few fish in the tank?

well the only other tankmates are a true perc hosting with a condy.but i will probably be moving them soon.the trigger is about 5 inches.

It's going to be hiding for a while then. :sad:

i forgot to mention my snowflake moray.he is only about 16 inches long.im also thinking of getting a niger or a redtooth trigger but this is probably to much for a 75 .
