Hello,

Anyone has one or more Mag 3 sitting around? I'm looking for one to test a new calcium reactor design. I can trade with The Quiet One pump.

Oh wait, a Mag 2 as well. Man those prices on J&L are quite a bit. Thought I've seen them cheaper at hydroponics. Still not as redicoulos as the Eheim stuff.

You would trade a Mag 2 for a quiet one? Mag 2 are $65 and Mag 3 are $80 @ JL, and they want $170 for the Quiet One. I'm looking for a return pump for my 33g, I was thinking of a Mag 5. I will be in Vancouver this week, so maybe we can work something out. Also do you have any more gaskets for the flanges I got off you, these one don't seal. Will take some pics.

Actually, I meant trading with more than one Mag pumps. I'm leaning towards the Mag 2 variety. But it's probably best for me to shop the hydroponics first to see how cheap they are now.

The gasket won't seal?! Make sure you wet it completely first. I know my and others do.

Titus, I bought a MAG 2 today for $60 at the local hydroponics shop. You should be able to do a bit better over there.
