Yellow tang eye color change
 

Has anyone else noticed that when a yellow tang is excited (fresh nori) or upset(hand in tank) the yellow ring around there pupil turns brown?

Mine gets crazy happy when his yellow corris wrasse buddy comes out of the sand. They swim together all day.

Did some googling but couldent find anything about eye color change.

So I guess this is not a common thing if people want pics. Ill try but the pics I took all came out with dark eye, The tang also gets pretty excited when I sit in front of the tank so that doesn't help.

well these are the best pics I can get, the change is a lot more pronounced in person. From bright yellow to brown.
