Am I crazy or do zoa's grow faster...
when they touch each other? Like I had these candy apple reds on a frag rock glued to my base rock about 3 inches away from a frag of hornets. Both frags sat there for months maybe making a new polyp here or there but no real growth. So the candy apples get knocked off and slide down to where the hornets are and they touch. They look nice together so I leave them and BOTH colonies have taken off. Like new polyps galore!!!
I've noticed this in the past too, almost like when they feel their teritory is being invaded they just naturally grow to take over?
Is this science or just my mind....
