Red sea test kits
Hey folks,
Just curious, since some dummy didn't do his research before buying  and is now questioning test kit results... How accurate are red sea test kits - specifically the NH3/4, NO2, NO3 tests? I bought one of the "master test kits" monday - And I'm trying to wrap my brain around the constant 0.25 NH3, 0.05 NO2 readings. They don't seem to change, with time or w/c's (though I did learn tonight that apparently edmonton tap water uses chloramines - might explain the NH3/4 readings). NO3s however have been on the increase. The tank is a 2.5g nano - thus daily accumulation is relatively noticeable. Just debating whether I can safely add that green clown goby I spied over at AI last week. Andy |
