Painting Stainless Steel

I'm building a light rack out of stainless steel to hang my radions above my aquarium but the stainless is just food grade so it still would eventually oxidize over time. Anyone know if you can spray paint this product over the steel to protect it long term without any ill effects on the tank? I wouldn't imagine so but wanted to be sure first. It's basically that spray that they say you can spray over holes in a boat to seal it again. Not that I would. Lol

Thanks for your help.

I was thinking any sort of outdoor metal paint would do, but that or even Plasti Dip would work. Its not like youre putting it IN the tank. And it will be dry before installing above the tank im assuming as well?

Definitely. This stuff was only an extra $5 so thought it would be worth a try.

I havent gotten to try that stuff yet for anything but I know the plasti dip on my car wheels holds up quite well so Im assuming that stuff would be just as durable.
