Help with new anemone
 

I just ordered a anemome from jl and asked for a carpet around the 100$ range and they gave me one labeled as white tiger carpet. He hasn't looked too healthy since I got it and it seems to be getting worse. Here are some pics of what I got, the first is the day i put it in after about a 2.5-3hr drip (on Thursday) and then next one is from today. Now is it dyong/dead, should I be concerned, anything I should be doing? My two rbta and tube anemome have all been doing great just this one's been odd since I got it.

what are you running for lighting

Got 3 Ecotech radions go in my 160g with 30 fuge and 55 sump

I feed it frozen brine Thursday and it ate it up

Well I thought it ate but I'm not sure it positive it did

It looks like it is dieing. Do you have a quaratine tank with lighting you can get it in? They get infections that can spread to other anemones. I just lost 2 earlier this year by adding an infected 1 that died.

Sorry to say - it's toast. Your first pic of when it arrived it was in really bad shape - totally bleached out and mouth gaping. I'd be leery about any Carpet Anemone described as "white" anything.

Darn, is it worth it for me to get a qt setup to stick it in, haven't bought anything in a year so had it torn down

What does it look like now?

It's falling apart. I moved it into qt in hopes it might perk up but I doubt it
