Is this Normal??
 

Hi All,

Over the weekend we added a Regal Tang to the family. She has now settled into the tank and everyone is getting along fine. I have noticed one strange thing with this tang, and was wondering if this is normal behavior. At night she wedges herself into really small spaces before she goes to sleep. last night she wedge herself sideways into a space, that I have no idea how she got into, at first I thought she was dead but I could see her gills moving. This morning she was up and about happy as ever. The night before she was in a different space, she was in a vertical position but almost upside down this time. I am assuming this is normal behavior, but some of the ways she is sleeping just seemed to strange. It's actually kind of comical to watch :razz: , but do want to make sure this is normal to see.

That is absolutely normal behaviour. Don't worry about it. :biggrin:

Yep very normal, mine had its favorite spot it would use to sleep and whenever it got scared. That is untill it jumped outa the tank :sad:

Very Normal, mine used to sleep in bed wih us. :smile:

Mine out-grew the bird's nest and has moved onto the Montipora sp.
