bubble tip help
 

I hate to do it but i need to kill 3 bubble tips, theres to many corals in my tank and there starting to sting so whats the best way to kill them, and no i can't take out the lr any ideas

Why don't you just take them out and sell them or give them to LFS for some credit?

i have to much LR and there at the bottom, i'am not ripping my tank apart just to get the bubble tips out, way to much work

Direct a powerhead at one and be ready with a net. If you pi$$ it off enough it will detach and you can catch it. Might take some time but better than destroying a life.

also heard ice cube at the foot works. ... or offer someone to come for free bubble tip provided they know how to get it off the rock.

+1 to what Warren said. If you can't take it out, killing it will probably be in the "way too much work" zone too plus there is always that chance of nuking the tank while trying to nuke the anemones.

FWIW, AptasiaX will probably do the dirty job.

You should speak to Myka (Mindy) when she gets back into town on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm sure she can help. Seems like a waste to destroy 3 animals. Please don't get any dogs or cats. I say that totally in jest.
