Update on Helios T5 fixtures
 

I have been running two of these lights for about one month. Sad to say, but the actinic one has basically crapped out. It now barely glows, and the ends glow a bright pink. I have emailed Reefsolution about it. I certainly have no desire to spend $10.00+ to mail it back. :sad:

That's too bad. All my T-5s have lasted at least 8-9 months & I have a LFS (Coral Ocean) that will order in replacement bulbs for me. One of the non-Helios didn't quite fit the bulb so I cut it, stretched it, & used part of a Coke can to extend it. It's been going strong with the replacement bulb for 3 months so far.

The latest news is that I had to mail it back. Stephane said there are problems with the actinic and would not send me another one. He was to send me another daylight, but that has not happened yet. :sad:
