BRS Fish Trap
Well not exactly  A fish trap made from an old BRS container, a piece of acrylic I had lying around, and some fishing line.

innovative!
large enough so fish feel comfortable. |
For some reason, for me, the pictures just show up as a big grey "minus sign". Is it a permissions issue?

Same here.

Ditto. Can't see squat.
I'm curious to see this trap, sounds like it works well. I just set up a simple trap another member posted, it works, you just have to go up with a net after the fish is in. But yours sounds like the fish will actually be contained. |
Pictures are hosted on Google photo, uploaded from my phone. It seemed to always work in the past. I'll try to fix it, I may have to share them somehow.

That's awesome.

The second set work. And yes I agree, great idea! I am in need of catching a fish out of my big tank and every attempt so far has been one of frustration. I have an older acrylic trap but it's really too big for the tank and it's not really transparent enough - he doesn't go into it because I think he sees it and he knows its nefarious purpose. So I think I might try this instead! :)
Thanks! |
Wow, that is a great idea.
