Pairing Dottyback
 

Good Morning Fellas. Just out of Curiosity, can you pair a purple stripe dotty to a magenta dotty? Or are they able to paired up to any other dotty family? I have a purple stipe dotty in my 30g tank setup with 2 ocellaries clowns, some crabs and snails and I wonder if I can purchase a 10g tank for possible dotty pairing.

Personally I wouldn't try to pair any dottyback with any other fish

Thanks Proteus. Im still undecided on pairing them. The thing is like on my 30g tank Im not sure if I can still put any smaller fish now that I have a stripe dottyback in there. The tank is 2mos old and Im kinda worried on any fish that might bullied by my dotty.
