I stopped by Canada Corals...
...and these guys (and gals) are really awesome!
I took a trip to Ontario, and spent last Sunday touring reef shops in the GTA (the ones that were open). I actually didn't see very many, but the ones I did see weren't very impressive from a retail perspective. I know I missed a bunch of the better ones though. I saw some nice corals and some rare fish, but I was kinda disappointed... ...then I got to Canada Corals. The space is bright, clean, tidy, and VERY organized. The staff is helpful and friendly. These guys are like OCD tidy. :D I've never been to a shop that is so well displayed. The frags were all so well organized and clearly marked. There wasn't even a stitch of algae on the eggcrate racks - I have no idea how they do that. Do you guys change it out weekly or something? They have put a lot of thought and care into designing their store. The cleanliness and organization gave me confidence that no corners were cut, and I was buying good quality, healthy corals. I actually placed an order online as part of a (mini) group order for Saskatoon, then realized I could stop by and pick up our order, and check out the store. Well, why not?! :D They showed me the corals I had ordered, and then I got distracted adding more... :twised: I like to choose where I spend my hard-earned cash by supporting vendors that show their customers matter. By making their store such a nice, clean place to visit, it shows they care. I'll be back. Online and in-store. Thanks guys! |

Mindy, were you able to take the ordered corals on the plane without any hassle?

Keep in mind these corals were in a box for 12 hours, then got a Bayer dip, then sat in the QT for 30 hours, and finally moved into the display tank. They took it all well. :)

I'm excited to see how it looks in a year. http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...202015%204.jpg http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...202015%203.jpg |

Thanks Mindy!
It's good to read positive reviews from our customers. It gives us a little extra wind for our sails. :) I am glad to hear the corals made it home safe. |
