150g Tank Shutdown Sale! Lots of Frags and Colonies!
Well it's been a long hot summer getting the tanks healthy and everything growing again. Now that they are back up and looking great, it's time to shut one of them down.
A new job with longer hours has made looking after 4 tanks just too difficult. So I have decided its time to shut down my 150g display. It's loaded with SPS, LPS, Zoa's and Softies. There is too much to list here, so if you have any questions, please let me know. Here are some of the highlights: SPS: Cali Tort: Beautiful Blue / Purple and a touch of green when it's bigger. medium - high light, medium flow. Good grower when happy. Frags - $20 and up Colony Size - $40 and up Similar to this one: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/CaliTort2.jpg Green Hulk Acro Bright green body, and a fast grower! A must have coral Medium - high light, medium - High flow. Great growth when happy. Frags - $15 and up Colony Size - $30 Similar to this one: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/GreenHulkAcro.jpg Pink / Purple Pocci: Higher the light, the lighter the color. medium - high light, medium flow. Good grower when happy. Frags - $15 and up Colony Size - $30 and up Mother Colony: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/PurplePocci.jpg LPS: Meteor Shower: Green Base, large orange polyps low light, low flow. Good grower when happy. Smaller Rock with green Zoa's - $25 Large Rock - $50 Something like this one: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/MeteorShower2.jpg Blue Ridge Coral Yes it is brown (the skeleton is blue), but this relatively rare coral has a very interesting 'Pillar' growth pattern. It can have either smooth skin or big polyps. This coral will definitely add a different look to your tank. Medium light, medium - low flow. Great growth when happy. Frags - $15 and up Colony Size - $30 Similar to this one (not mine): http://www.jareed.com/reef/images/ta.../blueridge.jpg Duncan Coral: Great Color and Movement for your tank medium light, medium - low flow. Good grower when happy. $5 per head (deals on multiple heads) Similar to this (not mine): http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ncanCoral1.jpg Montipora: I have about 6 different varieties of montipora in this tank. Here is one of my favorites: Mystic Sunset Fairly quick grower, medium - high light for best color, medium flow The lower the light the darker the body. Light pink to purple body with interesting half blue polyps. This encrusting monti is a keeper! Frags: $20 and up Similar frag: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/MysticSunset.JPG Zoas and Softies: Lots and lots of Zoas in here. Ranging from big green ones to fancy named ones. Here are some of the more popular ones: Purple Death $5 a polyp (3 polyp minimum) Discounts on larger quantities. Not my colony, but similar: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/PurpleDeath.jpg Sunny D's $5 a polyp (3 polyp minimum) Discounts on larger quantities. Not my colony, but similar: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/SunnyDs.jpg Blue Explosion ? - Don't really know the name, so I made one up! $2 a polyp (3 polyp minimum) Discounts on larger quantities. Still lots left!
I just sold a super rare colony of pocci. It was half pink and half green! Actually it was from two different pocci colonies. They both spawned and planted seeds next to each other. They have been growing as one colony for over 7 years and was as big as the mouth of a salt bucket! I sold that one for $80. How about a 1 foot by 1 foot colony of Confusa for $80? A big warning: this piece is growing on my overflow and will be coming off in pieces. If you only want a frag (OK, a BIG frag) they are $10 each. Confusa looks like this (NOT my colony): https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7702/...67576a91_b.jpg This colony of Trumpet is for sale as well: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/Trumpet.jpg I'll probably sell it as frags ($5 per head or 3 heads for $10), but if you REALLY want the whole thing, I'll let it all go for $150 These and plenty more still available! I'm around this weekend if you'd like to come by. |
Tank is starting to empty out! Killer deals on BIG pieces of month's!
A couple other pieces in there that I haven't mentioned yet: Pink Lemonade higher light, and medium - high flow Quick grower when happy. Big, well encrusted frags for $25 each One colony - you've got to take the rock and zoas thats its on too - $75 Sorry, I can't find a picture right now. Google it if you don't know what it is. Austera Acro higher light, the lighter the colour and medium - low flow Quick grower when happy 3x Frags: $15 each Pic is actually from Coral Masters site. My pictures din't do it justice: http://members.shaw.ca/kgrimm/Austera(CoralMaster).jpg Forgot to mention this too: Bulk Ca and Alk Looking for a way to save money in this expensive hobby? I started using bulk additives years ago and recently discovered that a good friend can get me them at a huge discount (he owns a chemical company). So, time to share the savings! Calcium Chloride - $2.50 lb (BRS $3+ lb after shipping, exchange ect) Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash - Used for Alkalinity) - $2.50 lb (BRS - $3+ lb) A quick look at J&L shows 1 KG (2.2 lbs) Seachem Calcium on sale for $23.05! Alk (1.2 Kg or 2.65 lbs) for $19.95. I'd prefer to sell in 5lb lots, but more or less is possible too. I'm around this weekend and evenings after 6pm. OH, yeah, lots of free Cheato available (with purchase). |
