Battery failures/leaks
I've always kept batteries out of items I don't plan on using on a regular basis.
Maybe newer engineered batteries are better, but I'm glad I pulled them out of my laser level awhile back. This is what I found in the bag today :surprise: http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps6m9fm4uw.jpg |
Yeah, I have seen that. I always take batteries out as well.
Its a mess to clean up in an apparatus, and if the corrosion is bad your equipment is toast. I have a pile of batteries that look just like that waiting for me to take to a recycler. Do they even take dry cells? Oh and that looks like a cut list, making the most of a length of steel. |
Battery failures/leaks
I've notice Duracells have a the dance to leak more as compared to the Energizers.
Even the Costco Kirkland brand leaks less. Anyone else noticed the same? |
