Halide question

How close can Metal Halides be, tip to tip. I have a 175w, and a 400w. there is a 2 inch gap between the 2 tips. is that too close?

I think that's fine. Let's face it, the heat from the neighbouring bulb isn't going to be greater than the heat each bulb generates itself.

As Brad says (5054 posts :mad: ), it should be absolutely no problem. If you can get a cigarette paper between the bulbs you will be OK.
