RO Booster Pump
 

I have this thing, how the hell do I make it work ?

I can't take a pic cuz the camera is down again. But I don't know what the black part is for. :mrgreen: :lol:

Just hook up that thing on the right to the thing on the left. Throw the black thing away as you don't need it. Drink a beer and enjoy :lol:

Is the black thing a pressure switch?

THe pump goes between your house line and the "in" side of your R/O. The pressure switch should go between the house line and the pump.

The black thing just seems to have a hole in and a hole out. :confused:

Should it connect to a switch?

Anyway the main unit has an "in" and "out". That is easy enough I think, in from the tap and out to the RO unit.

Does the black thing have wires coming out of it? Does it plug in anywhere?

The black thing has two six pointed white things on either end, you can turn them but they don't seem to do anything. Just a hole right thru.

It says Flojet on it.

It has a cord that tees of to two connections.

I'm still guessing it is a pressure switch and the Tee'd connection plugs into the wall 24V transformer and one into the pump.

You can always experiment. Run some RO tube from your RO unit (anywhere that is easy to access and you get water) into the switch, then from the switch to the pump. Then on the output from the pump, put more RO tubing in so you don't make a mess anywhere. Turn on the booster pump and plug the output with your finger. If it is a pressure switch, then your pump should turn off.
