Flatworms

Staring at the tank today I seen a critter crawling on the glass. Im guessing it to be a 1/4 inch long flatworm. Ive read a number of posts about people using flatworm exit to get rid of them. A couple questions...

1. Are all flatworms bad though??
2. Should I be concerned??
3. Does anyone know a good site for more info??

I'm still pretty new to saltwater but I can give you my experience with them... shortly after we started our tank, we had a very large number of flatworms. I was using the turkey baster every day to get as many of them out as I could. Was starting to research what kind of natural predators they have and read that quite often the flatworm population will have big surges and then on its own just die off. So I waited it out. And mine did go away with no intervention, and haven't been a problem for 3 or 4 months now.
Just my two cents,
Debbie

How about the old six line wrasse for cleanup

Do you have the red flatworms or the white flatworms? The reds are a menace but the white ones aren't bad.

Does anyone have info on the clear flatworms? I found one in my refugium this morning.

I have heard that banded coral shrimp eat flatworms.
