Hi all, I know this has been asked before but I can't figure it out. How do you get an image into your profile (AVATAR)? If anyone has any input it would be much appreciated.

Go to profile (link on the left hand side of the page). At the bottom, there should be a field labelled "link to off site avatar." Enter the URL (address) of the avatar you wish to use.

So the picture you want to use needs to be hosted somewhere. If you have your own webpage you can use that, or, you can use Canreef's photo page.

Just remember to limit your avatar size to 80x80.

Hope this helps.

I would like to use my torch coral 32 pic as my avatar but it is too large. Can it's size be reduced and if so how?

Many apps exist that allow you to resize a pic, but if you don't have one, email the pic to me and I can resize it for you.

What server is the picture hosted on. Your path only has http://filename

You need http://www.servernamewherepicis.com/filename.jpg

This is what you're missing..

But, that photo is WAY too big to be used as an avatar. If you can get a resized version, upload it to the photo page, and then use that one.
