OK, it looks like the issue has been resolved, although with much discussion between some important people involved, or at least people involved.
So, the Random Thought Thread has been re-opened, but it would appear that this thread is about to be squished, although I have no idea why ....

SO, is this useless thread going to be closed anytime soon, or should we re-name it Random Thoughts Thread #2 ... ?

I'm all for starting another thread that will not take up so much space on the site's server if need be

I vote to call it 'Random Thoughts Thread #2' in respect of Myka

Or we could just call it 'The Soap Box' and continue on from where we started :lol:

I vote for this being the random thoughts ABOUT the random thought thread.

I can start: I've only visited the random thought thread once... it was nice. Possibly because I made that visit between 5 and 9.
