Any additional info on these damsels

Hey, just wondering if anyone has any more info on these damsels-fusilier I think.
Sorry for the bad pictures, they are extremely hard to get a clear pic of.
All I can find is that they are a false anthias, top swimmers and fairly hardy. Ive never seen them before in any store. Any info would be great, I'm sure somebody has had one of these as some point.
Thanks

They get uglier as they get older. Not in the "ugly adult colors" sense, but rather they tend to get haggard in appearance, sorta like big blue hippo tangs, if that makes any sense. Other than that, pretty much what you said is all there is to know about them.

Hard to tell from the pic but if there's purple on them then they are Fusilier damsels(lepidozygus tapeinosoma). Get to about 3 inches.

Thanks guys.
Ya, there is orange on the top half of the body from about the centre of the dorsel fin to the tail, where it changes to a red/purple colour.
At any rate, they eat well, so nice addition to the tank.

Yup, Fusilier damsels. I bought some a long time ago from Island Pets. Only place I've ever seen them I think. Maybe J&L can bring them in and ship them to you.
