1350 Gallon Roller Coaster.....
Pictures and deeds speak volumes. Some members may follow and know of large scale private aquarium in the Toronto area that has been actively followed on various different sites. I wanted to share with you a recent sad/tragic (for now) event.
It all begins on Post#838 http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...096730&page=34 You may want to start at the very beginning of the adventure from Page 1. The pictures at any point of the thread are astounding. Apologies to the admins if this is an inappropriate post. |
I can't imagine....
I've talked to Peter several times in the past couple years, he was always willing to give advice, even opened his home to others. He has done what most of us can only dream of. |
unbelievably terrible. I could only imagine that much water being let go never mind to loss of aquatic life...
|
Ya, read that last night. I couldn't imagine :(
|
Peter has graciously opened his home for visits and viewing in the past. Mr. Wilson has always welcomed questions. Videos from the past are enclosed:

I have read Peters thread almost since its inception. Can't believe that it's gone, and in a matter of minutes.
Good on him to make the decision (at least right now) to start again. Looking forward to the new build thread! |
Been there, sucks... Yay for paludariums
|
Wow that's brutal.
|
oh dear lord.. that's brutal ! I can't even imagine that kind of pain. Although, I'm not sure which is more painful, the tank exploding or the $100,000 per year maintenance cost :surprise:
|
This is seriously heartbreaking I feel his pain. I got added insurance for my tanks to cover any situation like this. Hopefully never have to use it.
