Vertex IN 280 In-Sump Skimmer Broken Pump CALGARY
 

My pump just stopped working not sure what is wrong with it but
I couldn't manage to fix it so I bought a new skimmer. This skimmer has worked wonders for 3 years has no cracks and is clean. I am looking for 40$. You can also have the pump and try to fix it if your handy.

That is a darn good skimmer. Takes a lot of space, though. I have one, and it works well with my 230g. Works with many pumps. That one looks like a Sedra (different than mine). Could be a swollen impeller (easily replaced) which does happen with those.

In any case, very good deal for someone. Good luck with your sale.

I too have this skimmer, works good when it's working. Not sure why, but my motor (different than yours too) won't re-start after it's disconnected from power. I have to stick something in the in port and manually spin it to get it going.

Great deal on a good skimmer.

Might be a swollen impeller, too, or just need a good cleaning.
